The Brazilian police are getting a new technological update in the form of new "cyborg" glasses. These glasses are designed to spot criminals in crowds and are able to scan up to 400 faces per second, 50 yards to 12 miles away while using 46000 biometric points to help identify a correct match. The faces are scanned with a tiny camera built inside the glasses and are checked in a database of criminals. If a match is found a red light blinks notifying the cop. This allows the cop to arrest the person without the need for questioning or searching for documents. They will be used for the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Summer Olympics which will be hosted in Rio de Janeiro.
