The Power Knee is the first motorized robotic prosthetic knee for above knee amputees. The knee provides enough power for the person using it to go at walking speeds, it helps when trying to climb stairs or ramps, and it responds to patterns of motions to help with natural motion. It is developed by the German company, "Ossur". It has been just approved by the German National Health System and is being sent out to its first users.

The "Luke" arm is a new functional robotic arm for amputees. Developed by DEKA, the best part about this arm is that it's controlled by your brain. They attach your nerves to the arm and allow you to perform a variety of motions. The arm can also "read our mind and perform motions depending on what you're trying to do by using infrared to read neural signals inside your brain. The arm is still in development and is currently being tested on war veterans.
